Baby Sasha's room

Baby Sasha's room, though the smallest in the house, was thoughtfully reimagined to maximize space and versatility. 

We repurposed part of the walk-in closet, transforming the entrance into an arched "tigers' nook" complete with a toy chest. By wallpapering the nook, we created an optical illusion that adds depth and makes the room feel more spacious, even though the main area remains the same. The room is designed to be timeless yet playful, with a sophisticated color palette that will easily transition as Sasha grows—requiring only a change of accessories. The space is anchored by vintage finds, including a recliner reupholstered in a 70s-inspired fabric, a dresser, and a side table - each adding character and easily adaptable to other parts of the home as Sasha gets older. 

Magnolia’s room transformation focused on enhancing functionality while reflecting her interests and personality. Magnolia is five who loves Elsa from "Frozen", rainbows, and owls. Naturally, these elements guided the design.

The project began with "Elsa blue" as the primary color, complemented by lavender and a deeper blue to add dimension and visual interest. We selected a rainbow-inspired rug to create a playful and plush surface for Magnolia to enjoy. A cozy reading nook, featuring a vintage kid-sized rocking chair, was incorporated, along with campaign-style side drawers to maximize storage. We also added a canopy over the bed to keep things playful and cozy. 

For a unique personalized touch, vintage owl mirrors were placed to frame the window, bouncing light from another mirror in the room and enhancing the natural brightness in the space.

We gave Nikko's room a fresh and fun update. 

Nikko is three, loves color green and has a pair of favorite red shoes.

We brought in the dark green bed frame and a vintage wooden dresser to ground the room. We added the window treatments and layered lighting fixtures to provide flexibility throughout the day. A mix of reframed vintage art and personal pieces give the space a unique feel while angling the dresser and teepee creates plenty of room for play, while keeping the space welcoming and cozy.
